I am honored to be working with the Rwandan National Cycling team again, this time in Rwanda!  I met a handful of the riders this past summer when they traveled to the United States to participate in two stage-races.  It was there that I learned more about Team Africa Rising, a program dedicated to building men’s and women’s cycling in Africa.  The Rwandan team’s head-coach, Sterling Magnell, is an old friend back from my days as a bike racer.  I’m so impressed with the work he is doing and the impact the sport is having in the country.  I’m looking forward to sharing more from this trip, which will culminate with the 2018 African Continental Championships Feb 14-18.
